Behaviour Support Assistant
Required ASAP

Randstad Education are currently assisting a Primary School in the heart of Leeds, looking to appoint a Behaviour Support Assistant to join them on a contract basis from as soon as possible. This is an opportunity to work with a wonderful group of teachers and support staff who pride themselves on their dedication to developing children to the best of their ability. Hoping to add a BSA to work with a small selection of children in the KS1 year groups, both on a 1;1 support and group basis. Your key role and responsibilities will be to:

* Manage the behaviour of a small group of pupils
* Support learning across all range of subjects
* Provide a safe and comfortable place of learning for the pupils
* Demonstrate the ability to switch between learning styles
* Communicate effectively with staff and parents on a regular basis

The requirements of this post are that you:

* Can competently manage challenging behaviour
* Have a calm and non-confrontational manner
* Are able to work as part of a team
* Use own initiative when necessary
* Experience in a similar role previously
* Team Teach Qualified is desirable
