My client require an experienced, organised, self-motivated and proactive LIVE IN Buildings Manager required for a newly converted modern residential development in Maidstone.

Duties will include not only providing security checks of the building, but also conduct caretaker duties such as ensuring that the internal and external communal areas of the development are cleaned and kept in order, ensuring Health and Safety standards are met, conducting regular foot patrols of the site, and general handy person duties.

As the Building Manager you will be the first point of contact for the residents with regards to all maintenance issues so excellent customer service skills are key. The successful Building Manager must have a strong proven track record and be able to work alone unsupervised with a strong degree of self-motivation, initiative and sense of responsibility.

This will include:

* Managing the front reception desk from 8.30am - 5.00pm
* Sort out mail and parcels for residential tenants
* Check the cleaning of all communal areas
* Fire alarm testing each week. Keep fire log book up to date.
* Regular flat Inspections
* Walk around and nightly inspection of the whole property
* carrying out regular property checks and ensuring that Repairs and Maintenance issues are carried out in accordance with budgets and priorities
* Dealing with residential and commercial tenants as and when necessary
* Check in new tenants and supporting London office with tenancy documents
* Accountable for the compliance with relevant Health and Safety Legislation and remedying deficiencies as appropriate
* Responsible for ensuring accurate records are kept at all times


The successful candidate will have:

* Residential and Commercial Building management experience
* Property management experience would be beneficial but not essential
* Knowledge of relevant legislation
* Good working knowledge of building maintenance and repair projects
* Experience of Customer Engagement and Communications
* First Aid Certificate holder ( not essential)
* IT skills are also essential


* Salary £25k - 30k dependant on Building Manager experience plus Accommodation on site will be provided
