To accelerate expansion in the UK and further afield, our client is looking to hire a Business Development Manager / Channel Manager who can demonstrate a strong track record in sales and channel management, within a Software or SaaS organisation. Joining an exceptionally passionate and hungry team, this offers the opportunity to work closely with the UK Leadership team and be responsible for having a real impact on the growth of the organisation.

The Role

You will be responsible for developing the client portfolio directly and through key partners. The ideal candidate will possess excellent consultative sales skills, the ability to qualify opportunities, the power to influence clients both directly and with key partners, along with superb face to face communication and presentation skills.
• Identification and qualification of revenue generating opportunities with clients across the UK and Internationally.
• Work with partners to generate leads and manage the partners through the whole sales process
• Responsibility for the full sales cycle from lead generation through to demonstrations and closing sales
• Develop a sales strategy and plan to maximise client opportunities
• Post-sale account management with clients to generate further business through cross sell and up sell activities.

Candidate Profile

• c3 years minimum solution sales experience, ideally with bespoke software or SaaS
• New business hunter with all round sales experience.
• Someone who understands a Channel / Partner sales model, understanding how to work with and influence partners at all points in the sales process.
• Self-motivated and commercially astute
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Confident and experienced in engaging with C-level executives
