Location: Bath

Are you experienced in ordering supplies to site? Have a good understanding of the construction sector? Wanting to advance where you are today? Want to work for an exciting subcontractor based out of bath with great opportunities? What's Stopping you?

Key Responsibilities:

To provide primary purchasing support for various civil engineering/groundworks projects, including all building materials, plant, site sundry items, signage, PPE etc.

* Place all orders for materials and plant for various residential projects, against an agreed time scale
* Carry out tendering for materials and plant
* Schedule various materials from working drawings
* Monitors and resolve invoice queries in a timely manner, to maintain payment to terms, where practical Negotiate terms and prices for all materials required for projects
* Raise purchase orders for materials
* Source and select suppliers, whilst building relationships with current supply base
* Expedite orders with suppliers
* Build relationships project managers and site team
* Book company vans in for service, repair & MOT

Experience and Qualifications:

* Procurement experience in both materials and subcontractors from preparing schedules through to analysing tenders and making final appointments
* Ability to read drawings and familiarity with current NHBC standards and building regulations
* GCSE in Maths and English as a minimum
* CSCS card holder
* Demonstrates proficiency using standard office software applications, including but exclusively Excel and Word
* Must possess required skills and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed.
