Are you an experienced CAD Technician? Do you have experience within construction and are looking for a new challenge? Then read below, this could be the role for you.

My client is a well known and respected company that has been in the UK market for many years and has strong relationships with a large portfolio of clients including many blue chip contractors and smaller regional contractors.
They are looking to add to their team as they enter a planned growth phase within their business over the next few years.

The role will involve processing & preparing CAD related projects for several departments needs, from Oil, Gas & Industrial projects, to Rail related surveys, to Construction & conventional Land & Measured Building Survey drawings.
You will be creating digital drawings within a given time frame, creating of two dimensional digital drawings & three dimensional digital models. Registering Laser scan data, talking with clients occasionally to understand project requirements. Producing rendered images, & full animations of surveys etc.


* Good understanding of 2D & 3D AutoCAD & either Leica Cyclone or Leica CloudWorx.
* Understanding of intelligent modelling packages such as Revit
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, etc.
* Knowledge of the following would be useful: N4ce, Key TerraFIRMA, Solid Edge, 3D Studio, MicroStation, Photoshop, & other CAD / Visualisation tools.
* Willingness & ability to learn new CAD / Modelling systems as required.
