job description

It is becoming more and more apparent that CAMHS Services within the UK are massively understaffed. In such a specialised area of mental health, the requirement for suitably experienced practitioners is always evident. Do you want to join a team that is going to make a huge impact?

If you're a CAMHS practitioner looking for an agency contract then this could be the role for you. You have the opportunity to join a team that has been established as part of a waiting list initiative to help provide support to children, young people and their families. This is your chance to make a huge difference.

Alongside a competitive hourly rate, you will also receive:

- Support from the UK's largest Health & Social Care specialist recruitment provider. With more than 60 years experience helping nursing professionals find their ideal roles, Randstad Care is ideally positioned to help people like you find your ideal job.

- A dedicated primary consultant with a secondary point of contact so there is always someone here to take your call.

- Weekly pay using an online pay system

- Access to free training courses

- A competitive referral scheme (up to £300 per successful referral)

- Online fast-track DBS applications

Your role as a CAMHS Practitioner will involve:

- Taking direct / indirect interventions with children and their families.

- Provide support to children presenting with mood difficulties, attachment issues, trauma and behaviour management difficulties.

- Work through a waiting list of people requiring treatment and support to help reduce the pressure on the service.

- Building relationships with children and their families to encourage trust, while listening to and interpreting their needs and concerns.

To be considered for this role, you must:

- Have experience within CAMHS.

- Be professionally registered with the NMC.

This is an opportunity not to be missed out on. After you apply, I will then conduct a telephone interview with you and invite you in for a face-to-face appointment.

This really is an opportunity you should not miss out on: a chance to make a difference. What is stopping you from applying?

You can contact me directly on 0161 245 3633. I look forward to hearing from you!

Randstad Care acts as an employment business when supplying temporary staff and as an employment agency when introducing candidates for permanent employment with a client. Randstad Care is an equal opportunities employer and decisions are made on merits alone.

Did you know that Randstad Care have been awarded a place on the National Clinical Staffing Framework for the NHS? This means we will be able to bring you more opportunities within nursing & midwifery and clinical staffing.
