We have a fantastic Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner opportunity based in the Skelmersdale area.

* Carry out mental health assessments, including self-harm risk assessments with children, young people and their families
* Offer therapeutic treatment
* Engage with families and young people
* Hold a caseload and case manage
* Attend team meetings/case reviews each week

To be considered for the CAMHS Practitioner post you must:

* Be HCPC registered
* Have experience of working therapeutically in a CAMHS services (ideal)
* Be trained and competent at delivering psychological therapies (ideal)
* Have a sound understanding of the Mental Health Act and legal framework governing CAMHS work
* Have experience in managing safeguarding concerns and alerts
* Have experience of using Routine Outcome Measures for assessment and monitoring of outcome
