Catering Assistant- £7.83 PH- London E16

Our client is currently recruiting for a passionate catering Assistant to join their team in London E16.

Your Duties Include:

As a Catering assistant you will be working in a team of 8 front of house and back of house producing and serving food to a variety of customers at our clients site based in Silvertown.

At the site our client mange and run several facility solutions for our client; you will be based within the catering department for which we provide the following - a busy Breakfast service from 7:30 to 10:30 / deli bar from 10:30 to 14:00 / Coffee shop from 6:30 to 16:00 / Full plated lunch service 12:00 to 14:00. You will work on all areas on a rotation basis with the other catering team members.

Impact: You are essential to the customer's opinion of our company so customer service is paramount as is the ability to work alongside other people in a pressured environment whilst maintaining your cool and keeping a can do helpful attitude towards other staff members and the customer.

Complexity: The role can be challenging and stressful during busy periods so being able to manage stress and deal with demanding customers are two essential skills required

Qualifications or Required Experience: Food safety cert or good knowledge of food safety desired but not essential as full training will be given.

Competencies: Communication, Can do attitude, customer service, working in a team.
