job description

Did your last job give you a sense of purpose? Were you inspired on a daily basis to reach out to someone in need of support?

Here at Randstad, we can offer you a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to someone's life, in a role that uses experience and knowledge to improve the lives of others. As a support worker, no two days are the same and much of what you do is based on the people you are supporting.

Benefits include:

* Free training and development
* Free DBS
* Retail discounts and savings
* Childcare vouchers
* An extremely rewarding role

Being a residential support worker requires you to support vulnerable children with learning disabilities, autism and mental health complexities. You will be expected to help the residents achieve personal goals and thrive in their independence.

Responsibilities include:

* Taking part in a number of activities
* Delivering person-centred care
* Supporting vulnerable individuals in their development
* Helping encourage residents to set goals
* Providing companionship
* Supporting with day to day tasks

Experience is preferred but not essential as training is provided. The right candidate must be passionate about helping others and making a difference.
