Are you a meticulous and experienced Wellbeing Support Officer with an excellent attention to detail? Keen to work in the public sector/local government? Responsibilities:

To provide a consistent and quality service to all service users that promotes positive health and wellbeing

To manage a caseload to include both 1:1 work and facilitation of small groups

To provide low level wellbeing based interventions across the Vale of Glamorgan area

To work in partnership with professionals and agencies both across the tackling poverty programmes, statutory, third sector and relevant independent agencies

To signpost service users to access relevant universal and eligible services

To work closely with other wellbeing services and primary mental health services

To facilitate group work delivered by partner organisations

To be aware of and have an understanding of all relevant legislation, guidance, policy and procedures, good practice guidelines, national standards and the principles of Best Value

To attend all relevant meeting and produce reports where required

To maintain accurate and up to date records

Requirements:

You must have relevant and proven experience of working with local people, delivering community mental health and wellbeing support

You must have experience of multi-agency/partnership working

You must be able to analyse and evaluate information

You must have a City & Guilds Level 3 Mental Health Care or equivalent qualification/experience
