Randstad CPE require a Contracts Manager for a £10m turnover commercial fit out company specialising in fast track, Design and Build, office fit out contracts.

Working for various repeat clients across the UK. Projects range in value from £50k-£1m with the Contracts Manager being responsible for 2-3 projects running at a time, depending on size. They will also work on future workload and tenders to help the business secure its growing turnover. Reporting to a Director overall, with Site Managers reporting into them on each project.

Individual: Will ideally come from a fast track D&B commercial fit out company with a stable work history.

This would suit a Project Manager/Site Manager who is looking to take the step up to Contracts Manager undertaking more of a roaming role and dealing more with clients and perspective new customers. Whilst the company does have a QS team the Contracts Manager will still have a financial ability and input into projects.

The right candidate will need to live in or around the midlands and be comfortable with travel.


* Plan, organise and monitor all aspects of the contract including but not limited to: - Material procurement - Sub-Contract procurement - Health and Safety - Quality Control - Financial Planning

* Arrange and attend regular contract review meetings with all members of the contract team

* Ensure all monthly internal progress reporting forms are completed in a timely manner

* Ensure good regular communication is maintained with the client

* Build and maintain a good working relationship with our clients therefore assisting in the continual growth of the company

* Attend and participate in monthly general business review meetings

* Attend and assist in tender review meetings prior to submission
