job description

Are you a Band 6 CPN whose expertise is in supporting patients within the community?

Are you confident working alone, and able to manage a complex caseload?

If so, we have short and long term bookings available within the NHS Mental Health Services in the North-West.

You will be working within already established teams, with your own assigned case-load of patients.

As a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse, the priority is to promote the safety and well-being of patients: this can be a challenging role, but is truly rewarding when you see the difference in patients' recovery. A variety of short to long term bookings are available, Monday to Friday with an option of full-time or part-time hours. These opportunities are suited to those who prefer to work in a busy team, whilst still being able to make fully assessed and thorough decisions.

Does this sound like you?

Benefits of working for Randstad:

* A full range of mandatory training to suit your role requirements, free of charge
* Support and training sessions in association with your NMC revalidation
* A weekly payroll and a range of payment options
* A flexible registration process and easy online application
* An easy-to-use app to manage and inform others of your availability
* Access to permanent job opportunities across a range of services

As a CPN working within community services, the successful candidate will need to:

* Have a comprehensive knowledge and broad level of experience working with various mental health problems
* Be confident in making thorough assessments and arranging the next steps
* Be an excellent communicator and be able to liaise effectively with other professionals
* Be committed to providing a high level of support to those within your care, developing care and recovery plans aimed at giving your patients the best quality of life
* Be able to oversee discharge planning
* Be able to deliver care coordination and caseload management
* Be proficient in specialist nursing procedures, including Depot Injection

Minimum requirements:

* Proven experience at Band 6 level within a community-based role
* NMC registration
* A Mental Health Nursing Qualification
* Access to a vehicle
