Position: Lead Data Consultant

Location: Central London

Salary: Up to £60,000

Job Type: Permanent

Randstad are working with a data management business helping brands build long term relationships with their customers in order to create ongoing value for businesses. This company works with agencies and clients to achieve that aim - starting with consulting on the marketing or business need, through determining the appropriate customer communication programme and channel of delivery - be that through creative generation, database management or live campaign execution.

Role Objectives:

* Ensure the delivery of service to the customer, achieving contracted service levels and committed deadlines.
* Act as the first point of escalation for the resolution of problems
* Manage and motivate designated BAU teams to ensure the achievement of deliverables
* Understand and assess client change request requirements in order to prepare change request documentation
* Support project manager and from time to time provide project management cover, ensuring adherence to this Group project management standards (Prince 2 / 6 Sigma)
* Provide reports on designated projects, BAU activity and SLAs to all interested parties including client and internal stakeholders, as required
* Present to business and client stakeholders where appropriate
* Manage & co-ordinate client requirements (including across the group, where applicable) to deliver a seamless product, services and solutions
* From time to time, support initiatives such as new business development.
* Represent the Company, its values and strategy; act as an ambassador for the Company Secondary:
* Work with the Account Director to deliver sustained profit growth from accounts to meet targets identified
* Work with the Account Director to identify commercial opportunities and deliver key pre-sale consultancy and support


* Have a good technical grasp and be able to communicate between the client and technical teams from a point of knowledge
* Responds positively and enthusiastically to changes in responsibility, culture or environment
* Ability to understand and assess client requirements from a technical perspective and translate into appropriate documentation
* Customer Focus: Drives continuous improvement towards excellence in service delivery, customer satisfaction and response times
* Challenges assumptions and generates imaginative and novel ideas
* Initiating Action: Recognises, creates and seizes opportunities to put ideas into practice to achieve business objectives
* Proven Good Judgement: Makes high quality decisions through evaluating all relevant data and reaching unbiased, logical conclusions
