Data Governance Manager - Manchester - £50,000 to £56,000

A high-profile Service Provider in Manchester is currently going through an exciting period of change and digital transformation across the business. They now need someone like you to take responsibility for all data governance across their systems and implement the correct data policies, processes and quality management procedures across the business.

You will have ownership of the strategy, roadmap and project delivery related to data governance. You will act as a project manager for data governance, data quality and data protection initiatives. You will also be responsible for improving the way the business uses its data - working closely with the IT function and key business stakeholders to implement new ways of working and new systems to improve data management.

As the successful candidate you must have:

- Prior experience in Data Governance management positions

- Project Management skills and experience

- Experience of Data Governance related to IT and Digital environments

- Knowledge of data policy, procedure and best practice

- Knowledge of data protection and legislation (including GDPR)

- Experience of Data Quality

- A good communicator with a pro-active mindset

You will be rewarded with an excellent package that includes:

- Basic salary of circa £45,000 to £53,000 depending on skills and experience

- £3,000 car allowance (or company car)

- Pension

- Private Bupa Healthcare
