My client, an independent regulatory body based in Bristol, is looking for a Data Verifier to join their team from November. This is a full-time (37 hours pw) temporary role anticipated to run until late January 2019. Suitable candidates looking for part-time hours are also encouraged to apply.

Working as part of a team, the Data Verifier is responsible for checking numerical data, raising queries with data providers and liaising with colleagues to ensure that the final data submission is correct. Data Verifiers need to work to tight timescales and follow set processes accurately, including maintain records.

Although working within a team structure, Data Verifiers are expected to work independently, liaising with colleagues where appropriate. As well as following set routines and meeting deadlines, clear, effective communication to internal and external stakeholders is an essential part of this role. Successful candidates will be expected to quickly develop expertise and understanding of the role of my client - full training and guidance will be provided.

Essential skills/ experience;

-Degree or equivalent experience

-GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths

-Experience of interpreting or manipulating numerical data accurately

-Ability to understand complex information and develop judgements

-Experience of using MS Excel to an advanced level and MS Word to a good level

-Ability to manage varied workload, following set processes to tight deadlines

-Able to work independently with an excellent attention to detail

-Well-developed communication skills - able to communicate information accurately and clearly in plain English

-Team player able to confidently cooperate with people at all levels
