Are you an experienced construction professional, seeking a managerial role in a MOD environment?

My client has an immediate opportunity for a Delivery to join their Cornwall based team on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of all contractual outputs and manage Supply Chain to ensure that all statutory, mandatory and reactive performance indicators are consistently achieved within area of responsibility.


* Oversee maintenance and response works in accordance with standards and policies.
* Monitor teams to ensure suitability and ensure that all operatives have appropriate equipment.
* Monitor service delivery, value for money, quality and safe working to ensure all targets are achieved.
* Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements to ensure an acceptable standard and to ensure a consistent approach.
* Ensure that all persons on site observe health and safety and site requirements, work closely with other teams to ensure compliance and deliver the requirements for Working at Height and/or Confined Spaces appointments.
* Ensure compliance with the Asbestos register, Legionella management plan.
* Support the Helpdesk with professional and technical advice.
* Provide supervision, assessment and coaching to ensure teams are performing, ensuring effectiveness and value for money.
* Coordinate and monitor the day to day activities of the site team, and ensure all operatives follow site requirements.
* Manage cost and stakeholder expectation through excellent communication and decisions.
* Work with all stakeholders to support the management and mitigation of contract risk.
* Contribute to the production of ESTS and FASP across the establishments within your area of responsibility.


* HNC, or equivalent, level qualification in a Building/Civil Engineering or Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent experience

Experience of supervising site operations, including:

* Planning, directing and controlling activities
* Agreeing scope and priorities of work

Significant practical experience in Construction, Property Maintenance or related field including:

* Experience of operating in an MOD environment
* Working knowledge of CDM regulations
* Experience of the Asbestos at Work Act, DDA, energy performance, Sustainability etc.
* NEC3 contract requirements
