The primary role of this digital marketing engagement executive will be to raise awareness of the charity's welfare services through the delivery of digital campaigns and initiatives. Sitting as part of the dynamic communications team, the successful candidate will have a vital role in the development and expansion of the digital marketing function.

Day to day:
*Work with our Welfare teams to plan, develop and launch digital campaigns and products to promote the Fund's welfare programmes
*Generate highly engaging content for our website and intranet and review all content regularly
*Increase user engagement and brand awareness via social media including Facebook groups by curating relevant content
*Work with colleagues to produce digital marketing assets including e-newsletters, PPC adverts, leaflets and videos
*Achieve set targets for beneficiary recruitment and conversions
*Measure and regularly report on the performance and impact of digital content and campaigns across all of our digital channels
*Work with the Digital Communications Manager to manage the Google Grant in order to drive ad visibility and conversions
*Liaise with Head Office teams, Regional staff, external stakeholders and partner organisations to identify opportunities for digital innovation
*Keep abreast of trends and developments in both digital technology and marketing

The requirements for this role:
*Educated to degree level or equivalent
*Experience attracting new beneficiaries
*Worked on an engagement campaign before
*Experience with Charity
*A love of digital
*Positive attitude and a passion for working within a charity
*Excellent communicator and writer, with a strong command of the English language
*Excellent understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices
*Experience of briefing and working with external agencies
*Ability to thrive in a dynamic, proactive and reactive environment

Essential experience:
*Good working knowledge of HTML and Adobe Photoshop
*Experience of using platforms like sendible & social bakers (analytical tools)
*Proven experience of analysing and interpreting data from Google Analytics
*Good understanding of search engine optimisation
*Strong understanding and experience of social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Google+, LinkedIn) and social media monitoring tools
*High level of IT literacy (Word, Excel and PowerPoint at a minimum)
*Experience of using an email marketing platform
*Demonstrable experience of planning and producing engaging content and implementing campaigns across social, display and other paid digital channels with proven results

Desirable attributes:
*Experience of Drupal CMS
*Experience of using Adestra, Google Display Network, InDesign and Sendible
*Experience in mobile app marketing
*Creative flair, with the ability to spot a good story or opportunity
