job description

Do you want to work for a world leading credit ratings agency with a global presence? Would you love to utilise your personality, charm and charisma more in your role - combining these with your expertise to increase staff buy-in to business-critical compliance requirements? Could you effectively manage the design, development and delivery of global Compliance training content and communications? And would you love to work in the beating heart of London's financial district, in Canary Wharf? If so, then this may be just the role for you!

Our client is a globally recognised leading provider of credit ratings, commentary and research headquartered in London and New York. Dedicated to providing value beyond the rating through independent and prospective credit opinions, our client offers global perspectives shaped by strong local market experience and credit market expertise. The additional context, perspective and insights they provide help investors to make important credit judgements with confidence.

- Monitor new trends in organisational learning techniques and technologies, and implement them into the Compliance learning, training and assessment processes.
- Prepare and analyse Compliance training metrics and reporting for the Chief Compliance Officer and senior management.
- Provide timely responses to regulatory, audit and reporting requests regarding Compliance learning and communication-related activities.
- As a complement to the Compliance training program, develop and implement an internal communication strategy designed to reinforce key Compliance messages and important regulatory and control developments.
- Produce and deliver Compliance content and messaging to all employees via intranet, email, video, talking points, articles, blogs, etc., in a timely, clear, consistent, accurate and authentic voice.
- Act as the lead contact for updating and enhancing Compliance's intranet site as a key internal communications tool.
- Work closely with Corporate Communications to ensure that Compliance's internal communications are fully aligned with the Group's media, marketing and communication strategies and scheduled via the employee communications editorial calendar

Key Role Requirements:

- Hands-on experience in a training function in a large, multinational corporation, ideally in the Compliance Department of a global financial services company.
- Undergraduate/University degree.
- Fluency in the English language, with exceptional verbal, writing, editing and interpersonal skills.

- Knowledge of the securities laws or credit rating agency laws a strong plus.
- A high level of independence, energy and integrity, with a respect for, and an understanding of, a diversity of opinions, styles and cultures.
- A demonstrated ability as an innovative content generator, who can effectively leverage technology and the digital environment.
- A collaborative approach to project delivery, with the ability to interact, influence and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Close attention to detail, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize high volume, high priority initiatives.
