Document Control - 3 months Temp

Document Controller required to join an established M&E contractor based in Central London.

You will be joining the team towards the end of the project and be supporting the existing document controller with handover, quality checking and paperwork.

This is a temp position for circ 3 months however is likely to be extended until the end of the project.

Rate will depend on expereince from £13-17ph LTD (£10-13ph PAYE) on a freelance / hourly basis

You will be one of two document controllers on site and will be reporting to the project manager and work closely with the other document controller and project team as well as main contractor and other sub contractors on the project.

Hours are 830am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Role will involve:

* Upload and download documentation and comply with all Document Control procedures
* Maintain up to date list of controlled documents
* Ordering stationery and equipment
* Updating health and safety files
* Book deliveries and inductions where required
* Ensure that main contractor, consultants and suppliers comply with the Document Control Plan
* Assist in archiving and recording documentation at project completion
* Process a backlog of documents and ensure they are updated as required

To be considered for the role, candidates must have:

* Experience using several document control systems
* Experience working on site for a subcontractor or main contractor
* Ability to work as a sole document controller
* Ability to work in a stand alone position
* Ability to work under pressure
