Document Control - 3 months Temp - Start ASAP - Central London

Document Controller required to join an established M&E contractor based in Central London based on a Station redevelopment project. You will be joining the team towards the end of the project and be supporting the existing team of document controllers with handover, quality checking and paperwork.

This is a freelance position for circ 3 months, it could be extended for slighltly longer.

Rate will depend on expereince from £14-20ph LTD (£12-16ph PAYE) on a freelance / hourly basis

You will be one of several document controllers on site and will be reporting to the project manager and work closely with the other document controller and project team as well as main contractor and other sub contractors on the project.

Hours are 830am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Role will involve:



* Upload and download documentation and comply with all Document Control procedures
* using eB and business collaborator, ensure design documents, drawings and all correspondance is distributed across all parties as required
* Maintain up to date list of controlled documents
* Updating health and safety files
* Ensure that main contractor, consultants and suppliers comply with the Document Control Plan
* Assist in archiving and recording documentation at project completion
* Process a backlog of documents and ensure they are updated as required

To be considered for the role, candidates must have:



* Experience using several document control systems - eB experience is a bonus
* Experience working on site for a subcontractor or main contractor
* Experience in a simialr environment working within the rail and civil engineering sectors
* Ability to work as a sole document controller as well as within a team
* Ability to work in a stand alone position
* Ability to work under pressure
