One of the largest supplementary education providers is currently looking to bring on board a capable and diligent Area Manager. We are looking for someone with a passion for the education sector and wants to help aid the education development of students across the Birmingham area. As a provider of study programmes for more than 4 million students world wide there has never been a better time to join this thriving organisation.

As an Area Manager, your role is to support a group of their Instructors (franchisees) to ensure the growth of their business including the recruitment and retention of their students in their study centres. You will ideally be based in Birmingham and will cover surrounding regions

All Area Managers benefit from a six month on the job training programme. Through effective relationship building, you will:


* Improve the quality of instruction and delivery of service within your geographical area
* Support Instructors with strategies to ensure growth and achievement of their targets
* Prioritise area activities such as centre visits, training and analysing Instructor and student progress
* Continuously develop your knowledge and expertise of our client's Method of Learning Do you have:
* A passion for and experience of working in the education sector (Preferable not essential)

What you'll Need

* A bachelor's degree or equivalent such as Professional Graduate Certificate in Education (UK)
* Experience of working within a franchising and or educational environment.
* Understanding the need for budgetary management
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Working knowledge of local educational system (England, Scotland, Ireland) including key stages of the education curriculum.
* The flexibility to work extended hours
* A full UK driving licence (regional travel is a regular requirement within the role)

Interview Process

1 Initial phone interview with the hiring manager
2 If successful you will be invited to attend an assessment day
3 The final stage will be a presentation followed by a Q&A session and a face-to-face interview
