Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Central London - Perm - £37,000 + Overtime

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM service provider situated in the Central London. The successful candidate will be mechanically qualified with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. He or she will be required to work as a static Mechanical Maintenance Engineer covering (M&E / Fabric) planned and reactive maintenance in the iconic building located in London.

You will be working in one of London's most iconic buildings within a team of other engineers from mechanical, electrical and plumbers. The ideal candidate would come from a Hotel background or recently just finished an apprenticeship.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of the below duties;



* Lighting - Lamp changes, ballast changes
* Emergency light testing
* Electrical Fault finding
* Small works - new sockets, lights
* Fabric Duties
* Fire alarm testing and sprinkler testing
* AHUs/FCUs - filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleans
* Pumps - PPMs or strip downs (replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls)

You may also be require to get involved in the plumbing side of things from blocking toilets, unblocking stacks, along with dealing with washer and taps etc.

Hours of work

Continental Shift Pattern - Days & Nights

Overtime is also available.

Requirements



* Electrically qualified (Apprenticeship, NVQ)
* A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
* Positive attitude
* Multi-Skilled
* Good communication skills
* Able to start immediately or at short notice
