Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Watford - £36K

An exciting opportunity to work for a leading UK maintenance provider within the commercial environment on a large static site in Hertfordshire. This is a static position based in Watford for a national organisation conducting maintenance on a 78 Acre site over a number of commercial buildings that require ppm and reactive maintenance to be carried out.

This is a very unique opportunity to work on a large campus of Buildings outside of London that house offices, laboratories and other general plant rooms.

The candidate must have experience in working in commercial environments installing, maintaining and fault finding LV electrical equipment such as PDU's, lighting, power, control panels, emergency lighting , Conduct weekly fire alarm tests, Monthly generator tests, Complete PPMs (planned preventative maintenance), Monthly emergency light flick tests etc.

Hours of work

Monday to Friday 8-5 pm with 9-6 pm shifts every other week



* C&G level 2 and 3 in electrical installation/electrotechnical
* 18th edition
* PAT testing
* Inspection and testing
* IPAF 3a+3b
* IT literate and good knowledge of Microsoft office
* Valid gold ECS card
* Good customer facing skills.
* Good Record keeping skills.
* To be able to contact suppliers to obtain quotations and upload to quotation system for client approval.


* LV authorised person
* PASMA tower/stair tower
* St Johns ambulance 3 day first aid course or be willing to undertake first aid training.
* Knowledge of Fire, security and CCTV systems.
* BMS knowledge
