Are you an Electrical bias Surveyor, seeking your next contract position in the Bristol area?

My client has an immediate opportunity for a Project Surveyor to join their Rewires Team on an initial interim basis.

The successful candidate will carry out surveys where property`s have been identified as potentially requiring a new kitchen, identify Kitchen replacement & associated works required, along with any rewire of the whole property.

Responsibilities:

* Carry out repairs, condition improvement/refurbishment surveys of dwellings, buildings and land, as directed.

* Produce programme and project reports

* Initiate & update project documentation

* Assist with project appraisal

* Ensure value for money from project/programme, materials and products

* monitor progress / quality on site

* Be responsible for contract administration under JCT and NEC forms of contract and deliver all technical elements of allocated projects/programmes

* Be responsible for incorporating low energy and sustainable construction principles into projects

* Ensure contractor/in-house performance is maintained to a high standard of delivery and customer and stakeholder satisfaction through the regular monitoring of project targets

* Ensure that asset databases are maintained and up-dated in an accurate and timely manner with accurate information concerning project outcomes

Requirements:

The ideal candidate would have good knowledge of social housing works, planned replacement works equivalent to Kitchens & knowledge of rewires & associated legislation. Also they would need to be able to drive & use of own vehicle as may have to carry equipment ie telescopic ladder.

* HNC or equivalent qualification in a construction field, plus a further period of relevant practical experience to demonstrate competence in the field

Or

* Equivalent relevant knowledge and skill demonstrated from significant experience in a building, surveying or similar construction related environment.
