5X ELECTRICIANS NEEDED ASAP IN NORMATON, WAKEFIELD

£19.13 per hour Umbrella

Start ASAP

I am looking for 5 electricians with a proven track record of Electrical installations, repair and maintenance work. A minimum of 2 years post qualification experience on Electrical Installations and Maintenance work is required for this role.

The role:



1 Understand the aims and objectives of the company and your service area, together with your role in service delivery.
2 Ensure that the services provided are to the highest quality/standard with due recognition of client and customer requirements and ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with the company's customer care values and Equal Opportunities Policies.
3 Planning and prioritising work within recognised safe systems and in accordance with all aspects of health and safety legislation at all times.
4 Participate in a team working approach to the allocation of duties, supporting and working effectively with colleagues to provide good working relationships within the service.
5 Undertake any training as identified through the performance review process continually seeking improvement and developing best practice.
6 Adhere to and apply legislation and procedures as appropriate.
7 Undertake other reasonable duties (with competence and experience) as requested, in accordance with changing organisational direction.

Impact:



1 To Carry out efficient and cost effective installation/repair and maintenance of domestic, commercial electrical installations, annual servicing, minor works schemes, in the companys Building Portfolio.
2 Ability to interpret design drawings, electrical circuit diagrams, manufacturers specifications and instructions.
3 Fault diagnosis and rectification of sub-standard installations in accordance with current regulations i.e. IEE 18th Edition regulations.
4 Ensure all works conform to the requirements of Safe Systems of Work for Low Voltage work, and BS 7671 and complete all appropriate documentation and test certificates.
5 Carry out repair/modification/replacement work within contract scope, as instructed by Supervisors/Management.
6 Completion and timely submission of appropriate documentation.
7 Ensure that standards and quality of work produced is in accordance with best practice and fit for purpose.
8 Be actively involved in the development of apprentice training.
9 Possible Participation in the Call Out Rota

Qualifications:



1 City & Guild 2365 level 3 or equivalent apprentice trained City and Guilds
2 City & Guild 2391
3 IEE 17th Edition/18 th edition
4 Fully DBS checked
5 IT literate
6 Working knowledge of the Electrical industry and products.
7 Health and Safety at work.
8 Ability to work to written and verbal instruction with a minimum of supervision.
9 Maintain accurate records, analyse information, able to read and understand drawings and specifications.
10 Effectively communicate with colleagues, customers and members of the public.
11 Ability to respond promptly and flexibly to customers' requirements.
12 Plan and prioritise work and to work to deadlines


Desirable:



1 Wide range of electrical working practices.
2 Other trade skills and methods of work/materials.
3 Ability to resolve problems with own initiative and experience
