I am currently recruiting for an experienced English teacher to work within an Outstanding SEND provision supporting children and young people with Autism & Complex needs.

You'll be expected to deliver English across KS3/KS4 to a variety of abilities and ensure that the pupils receive the highest standard of support. Alongside the the delivery of English, it is important that the applicants have a real passion for pastoral support and care for pupils with Autism, ADHD and Complex Needs. This role is for the remainder of the academic year.

Responsibilities:



* To deliver English across KS3/KS4 and ensure the highest standard of support is provided to all pupils.
* To ensure that pupils understand the work that is set and have the right tools to complete it to the best of their ability.
* To encourage pupils to be actively engaged in their own learning and in reviewing their progress against targets.
* To encourage and foster intellectual curiosity and help pupils achieve their full potential.

Requirements:



* QTS Qualified English Teacher or SEN Teacher who has delivered English to KS4.
* Have a nurturing and caring nature.
* Have excellent communication skills.
* An enthusiastic attitude towards working with young people.
* The patience and passion for looking after vulnerable young people.
