Growing Regional Contractor operating at around £20m turnover on Commercial, Industrial, Education and Retail projects across Yorkshire.


Senior Estimator working alongside an experienced Estimating manager on tenders valued from £500k to £5m. This position has become available due to growth in the number of enquiries over the last 6 months.


£40,000 to £50,000 + Company Car / Car Allowance.

Experience Required:

* Degree/HNC/HND in Construction related subject
* Experience of working in a similar role as an Estimator
* Main Contracting, sub contracting or Developer experience
* Commercial experience.
* Ambitious with high aspirations.
* Excellent organiser with proven time management skills.
* Numerate with good IT skills.
* Excellent communication skills.

Key Accountabilities:

* Obtain the most competitive quotes by understanding current market trends
* Identify and report on risk and opportunity and scope
* Review and assess tender documentation ensuring all documents are received and are correct
* Coordination and management of supplier enquiries through the estimating system.
* Maintain Pre-Contract supply chain database.
* Measurement and pricing of bills of quantities.
* Assisting with cost planning of projects from initial feasibility to contract
* Good verbal communication skills for interaction with internal and external team
