THE COMPANY: A facilities Assistant is required to join a large UK Facilities Maintenance company in Leeds.

Location: Leeds

Permanent position

Salary: £19,000

The purpose of the role is to enable the achievements of contract requirements and the Leisure Centre needs the Facilities Assistant will work closely with the Assistant Facilities Manager to provide an effective and comprehensive facilities management service. Services including planned and reactive maintenance, swimming pool operations, plant and water testing, security, fire safety, grounds upkeep, and general facilities services. Travel to other Leisure centres will be required to support instances of absence and through an on call rota.

This Job Description is not exhaustive and other duties and responsibilities of a similar level and nature may be required from time to time.

Undertake key holder duties and provide access to the Leisure Centre including call out requirements on a rota basis which will include weekends and public holidays.

Support and assist in the delivery of hard and soft facilities management services to enable contract fulfilment

To carry out duties in relation to the operation and first line maintenance of all swimming pool plant and related equipment to ensure availability at all times.

To carry out water testing and adjustments of the swimming pool plant to ensure availability at all times

To carry out planned maintenance as programmed and directed, to include statutory L8 and fire related testing and inspections.
