Are you an experienced Finance Analyst? Are you looking to take on a new challenge with a Medical Devices Manufacturer? If so we are looking for individuals just like you!

We have an opportunity for a Finance Analyst to provide support to Senior Finance Analyst and UK Business leaders by acting as a valued business partner for our clients business unit.

This is a contract opportunity for 4 months working 37 hours per week Mon-Fri.

Responsibilities include:

* Support and develop high quality business partnering for the UK business unit
* Month end and quarter end activities for our client, provide financial guidance and diagnose performance through monthly BVA analysis on COGS, GP and OPEX with correction/ decision making processes
* Involvement in/driving standardisation, process improvement & sharing best practice
* Proactive partnering with the mutual goal of delivering best business outcomes
* Provide ad hoc financial analyses for business partners across the organisations (sales directors, supply chain; Capital Investments etc)
* Monitor analysis and interpretation of macroeconomic environment to propose adequate financial actions
* Compliance with J&J Records Retention rules and HCC/HCBI/IAPP requirements
* Ad hoc tasks & analysis as required

Experience, qualifications and skills:

* Qualified with professional Accountancy body (e.g. CIMA, ACCA) with min 3 years post qualified experience
* Strong interpersonal & communication skills, with an ability to influence people at all levels
* Ability to analyse the financial data ensuring that it makes business sense
* Attention to detail
* Self-starter
* Experience of SAP
* Advanced spreadsheet skills
* Ability to contribute and work effectively as part of a team, taking the lead where necessary
* Methodical approach with a commitment to accuracy & timeliness of analysis
* Strong continuous improvement mind set
