About Our Client
One of the nations best loved charities is looking for a driven and career focused Finance Manager to join the most prominent arm of the organisation. The charity are based in Shoreditch and offer an open and friendly working environment where excellence is key!

This is an amazing opportunity for a qualified accountant to gain excellent industry exposure. There is a strong support system and a culture to progress and share ideas.

Job Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the production, collation and timely delivery of the divisional budgets and forecasts
- Ensure all income and expenditure is correctly accounted for, monitored and any variances are analysed and commented on
- Explain complex financial issues to non-fiance managers
- Provide verbal and written advice and training to budget holders
- Ensure financial reports are accurate and delivered to deadline
- Review and develop internal and external financial procedures and processes
- Training key stakeholders in matters relating to financial management and compliance
- Responsibility and management of projects to support the directors.
- Attend management meetings and conferences

Preferred Skills:

- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with significant experience working within a finance function of a complex organisation
- Experience in the preparation of financial management information including budgets and forecasts
-Strong data management and ability to analyse numbers critically and extract pertinent information
- Experience of implementing new financial control prodedures
- Advanced excel and data manipulation
- Knowledge of Proactis, TM1 and Cognos (desirable)
- Knowledge of Charity SORP (desirable)

- Ability to understand a wide range of stakeholder needs and adapt approach where necessary
- Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Ability to prioritise
- Proactive approach to problem solving
