Role Overview

A leading UK Facilities Management company are seeking a Commercial Manager to work from either their Sheffield or Derby office. The company works with a range of high profile clients from various industries. This particular role sits within the education and local government division.

Your Package

* £55,000 - £60,000

Your Responsibilities

* Deliver the budgeted financial performance by working closely with the operational team
* Monitor and analyse all processes and information generation to ensure financial performance
* Control all commercial processes in line with company policy
* Communicate effectively with all internal stakeholders
* Report to the Project Manager and Senior Commercial Director
* Maximise efficiency and cash flow within the business by continuously maintaining and improving operational processes
* Assist the divisional bidding team to develop proposals to secure new work
* Work with the supply chain to reduce costs and improve delivery
* Promote a lean management way of working
* Develop a robust commercial plan that anticipates and can adapt to change.

Your Skills & Qualifications

* Degree in Quantity Surveying or a similar field
* MRICS desired
* Successful history as a Commercial Manager within a facilities management or life cycle projects team
* Sound knowledge of the financial reporting and budgeting process
* Outstanding commercial awareness
* Strong technical knowledge
* Competency across a range of IT packages
* Organised
* Strong presentation skills
* Mindset of driving internal performance and increasing brand value
