Front End Developer

Are you looking to work closer to home? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Front End Developer based in a Local Authority in North London.

Post: Front End Developer

Rate: Circa £450 per day

The main duties of the role are as follows;



* Direct responsibility for working as part of a multidisciplinary team to identify, understand and validate through prototyping, opportunities for new and amended service processes and software components and the mentoring and management of one or more Front End Developers and Digital Apprentices.
* Ensure delivery of a high quality user experience, including fit for purpose software, and high standards of access, availability, usability, usefulness and excellent standards of service.
* Take responsibility for the management of the testing activities within a development project, overseeing the planning of the system and acceptance tests and coordinating the execution of these plans.
* Ensure the security and integrity of data by encouraging and enforcing adherence to IT standards that ensure availability, integrity, authentication and confidentiality.

Requirements



* Demonstrates an understanding of current developments in the application of Information Systems and is able to assimilate and interpret advice from specialists - user researchers, service designers, product owners etc.
* Proficient in the digital development techniques and methods required to deliver modern, high quality user interfaces and interactions.
* Makes decisions which impact the success of assigned work i.e. estimation and prioritisation of user stories and acceptance criteria.
* Advises on the available standards, methods, tools and applications relevant to own specialism and can make appropriate choices from alternatives.
