Are you an experienced General Foreman looking for an exciting new project? If so, I have a permanent opportunity. A General Foreman role has landed in Kent.

Location: Kent

Contract type: Permanent

Start date: July 18

Salary/Rate: £36K - £42K per annum + package

We are looking for a General Foreman to work on various projects across the Kent area, for a Kent based contractor. This contractor deal with all aspects of civil engineering - highways, bridges, infrastructure, environmental, frameworks and special works. Therefore, we are looking for General Foreman who has a mixed civil engineering background.

You will need to have experience of leading a team and supervising crews of workers to ensure that projects proceed smoothly. Ideally candidates will have worked their way up from a tools background.

You will be responsible for:

* Managing workforce
* Motivating the team to complete projects on schedule
* Ensuring that the site team complies with site rules and regulations while monitoring the quality of their work
* Collaborating with clients, suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of the project proceed as planned
* Maintaining equipment and manage paperwork


* Ideally you will have progressed from a tools background

* Experience working on civil engineering projects with a main contractor , with experience in - highways, bridges, infrastructure, environmental, frameworks and special works
* Recent highways experience

* CSCS Card
* First Aid


* Salary £36,000 - £42,000 (depending on experience) + package
