A leading risk management software organisation, our client is looking for graduates to help develop the promotion of their global offering throughout the UK. As a Graduate Business Development Executive you’ll ensure that both new and existing clients have a full, comprehensive knowledge of the company’s offering.

The successful graduates will enjoy full, bespoke training, working directly alongside and learning from the company’s MD. The Graduate Business Development Executive will strategically generate new business leads in order to secure business appointments and gather market intelligence. You’ll then attend these appointments with the MD, before independently attending and running these meetings once you pick up the skills necessary.

The Role:
  • Ensure you hold an in-depth knowledge of the marketplace, company and their competitors
  • Strategically generate new business by identifying and calling through to key decision makers, scheduling meetings for senior sales
  • Develop rapport with figures at all levels of seniority in order to retain business
  • Shadow the MD to meetings with a view to progressing so that you can run these meetings independently, negotiating and presenting to clients
  • Educated to degree level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
