Job title: Graduate Presales Consultant
Location: Twickenham 
Salary: £26k (up to £2,000 in performance related bonus)

Our client are about helping companies easily create innovative digital experiences across mobile and web – they’re an open source software platform helping firms in the financial services sector, as well as healthcare, government, retail and manufacturing. 

They’re looking for a Graduate Presales Consultant to join their existing team – an individual with exposure to programming that’s looking to take their next step into a consultancy role. The ideal candidate will have a great customer-facing manner, and be confident translating technical requirements to a variety of audiences.

Core responsibilities:
  • Developing your understanding of the company’s products and services
  • Providing on-site technical training
  • Gaining full understanding of business requirements in order to develop relationships with key decision makers
  • Assisting in building solutions with senior engineers (and eventually managing your own accounts)
  • Supporting the Business Development team in conducting engaging product demonstrations to new potential clients, and providing technical expertise
Absolutely vital to this role is a can-do attitude – you need a mature attitude to learning and development, as there is plenty on offer in this role. You’ll get immediate mentorship from one of the senior Sales Engineers, in addition to soft skills development support, and training in full stack development, continuous integration and the latest in front-end development.

Candidate requirements:
  • Essential: Educated to degree level in a STEM discipline
  • Knowledge, understanding or experience of Java and Javascript
  • SQL is highly desirable, but not essential
  • jQuery, React, Angular or similar are highly desirable but not essential
  • Clear, confident communication skills
