Our client wants to be the number one destination for Business Intelligence in it's sector, providing best in class products and delivery to the biggest companies in the world. We're looking for an incredible hands-on, data-driven, people motivating Group Head of Marketing to help realise this vision across the membership and events product portfolio with the aim to create, retain and grow customers aligned the business goals.

Experience across a broad range of activities, including PR, event marketing, digital marketing, demand generation, marketing automation, customer retention, campaign analysis, sales alignment, product marketing and related activities aimed at delivering best in class results will be required.

The successful candidate will manage a team over a 12 month maternity cover, while developing and implementing marketing strategy across the group.

Key Responsibilities:

*Drive the performance, evolution and success of marketing and its associated initiatives
*Build influential relationships with your stakeholders to ensure marketing is heard and applied to be a driver for business growth and customer success
*Manage the team in excellence of execution, while encouraging testing and new approaches
*Provide the business with clear ROI metrics to ensure marketing's impact is understood and is able successfully drive investment where required
*Lead key projects to support 2019 Growth:

o Product Marketing:

Build sales support and enablement tools, manage internal roll outs, certification and implementation
Work with wider marketing team to identify the relevant messaging and communication channels for customers and partners on product upgrades, new features and release

o PR:

Aligning our corporate communications strategies with the overall company and marketing goals.
Work with PR consultant/agency to develop and execute innovative, proactive and strategic marketing programs leveraging traditional and new media as well as industry analyst relationships.

The ideal candidate should have:

*7-10 years of B2B marketing experience, preferably with experience in product marketing and/or PR within Business Media - MUST have people management experience
*Advanced experience of working with multiple marketing technologies including automation and CRM
*Deep knowledge and experience of advanced demand gen and customer marketing techniques
*Experience coaching and managing teams
*Ability to influence and work alongside cross-functional teams
*Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
*Capable to manage team and individual projects and regularly report on their progress
