* Familiar with the principles of quality and compliance
* Understanding of the Network Rail RISQ process
* Understanding of the ISO accreditation process
* Experience of risk, strategy, procedures, and staff training
* Excellent regulatory knowledge and understanding

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide support to and liaise with all managers to ensure that projects are delivered to current Management Procedures

* Work with operational staff to ensure process and procedures are continually improved
* Ensure compliance is met with Network Rail, client and ISO standards
* Implement and manage the audit process for both internal and external audits
* Produce monthly KPI performance reports
* Implement the Management Review process
* Act as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and quality
* Assist the Safety and POS managers with their responsibilitie

Key Skills and Qualifications:

* NEBOSH diploma or equivalent (or demonstrable IPD/CPD equivalent) in Occupational Health and Safety
* Excellent knowledge and experience of Construction and/or Building techniques, hazards, risks and associated control measures
* Working knowledge BS OHSAS 18001 Standard
* Experience in similar or supporting post
* Experience working understanding of SHE legislation
* Good oral and written communicator
* Ability to work as part of a team and to positively influence others
* Ability to work on own initiative, deliver key objectives while working under pressure and coping with stressful situations
