Head of Property Management and Capital Delivery

Are you looking to progress from your current role? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Property Management and Capital Delivery based with a Local Authority in East London.

Post: Head of Property Management and Capital Delivery

Rate: Circa £450 - £650 per day

We are looking for an experienced Head of Property Management and Capital Delivery to lead on the development of an 'intelligent client' for the Council that delivers excellent asset management and capital programme delivery to protect the Council's asset value across all Council assets.

The main duties of the role are as followings;



* To ensure that the Property and Capital Delivery Service undertakes all requirements specified within Council Policies, relevant Codes of Practice, Legal requirements/Regulations, Financial Procedure Rules, Contract Procedure Rules and also approved Operating Standards, Service Level Agreements and Scheme of Delegation.
* Leading the delivery of a group of related services ensuring that intended outcomes are being achieved through effective leadership and management against key performance measures.
* Visibly lead and motivate staff at all levels to work within a culture that is open, honest, shares knowledge and develop best practice, underpinned by rigorous support and development.
* Control and manage appropriate budgets as delegated by the Director within delegated authority limits.

Requirements



* Knowledge and experience in Social Housing.
* Must be a qualified member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (General Practice) or an equivalent qualification.
* Sound working knowledge of Statutory Regulations, Professional Codes of Conduct and Government sponsored initiatives relevant to the land and Property service.
* An effective leader; able to energise, engage, motivate and manage staff to deliver against corporate, service and individual objectives.
