A lovely school in the Hassocks area is looking for an outstanding individual to work along side the Director of SEN to develop strategic planning, development of an innovative approach to the education of children with ASD. You will need to have at least 5 years experience of working in a similar post or in a senior position within a school setting.

Your role will include:
* To lead staff and students
* To create an positive environment for development
* To follow OFSTED regulations
* To build a strong rapport with staff and students
* Liaise with staff to ensure a smooth running class
* Enabling learners to access the curriculum
* Be an active part in setting a positive learning environment

Key skills and experience needed:
* Educational leadership experience is essential
* A strong knowledge of OFSTED regulations
* Be flexible and creative within your visions and approach to education
* A good understanding of working with students with EBD and SEMH
* Willingness to learn and build relationships with staff and students
* Be confident to lead
* To be able to lead and support new qualified teachers
