Are you an esperienced Health and Safety Manager looking for a fresh challenge for a Residential Main Contractor that can offer a huge career development?

My client, one of the most respected, renowned residential Main Contractor that has a pipeline turnover exceeding £4 bn with over 2000 units live on site at present is looking for a Health and Safety advisor to join theyr Safety, Health and Environment team on a permanent basis in their head office in Central London.

The purpose of this role is to assist in implementing the long-term strategy for the SHE department, enabling the team to deliver it through effective leadership and management, this role will be split between being based at Head Office and visiting their sites (all in London).

Duties to include:

* Delivering strategy to ensure that SHE is given primary importance
* Deliver the client's standards and guidelines ensuring that safety, health and environment are given primary importance throughout.
* Carry out regular site visits with site teams to develop their understanding of potential risks and support them in delivering best practice.
* Carry out all investigations into accidents, incidents and dangerous occurrences.
* Participate in all serious incidents where enforcement authorities are involved.
* Attend reviews to ensure controls risk assessments and company procedures are updated.
* Collect information required for the publication of relevant SHE communications.
* Keep up to date with all industry safety, health and environment activity, driving excellence and making recommendations to the overall company strategy.
