M&E Health & Safety Manager

The Client

My client is a leading privately owned MEP Contractor who specialise in the turnkey MEP Design & mechanical, electrical services installation. The business currently has a T/O in excess of £80 million and with a full pipeline of work this is likely to increase to £90 million by the end of the next financial year. They work with leading D&B Contractors such as Sir Robert Mcalpine, Lend Lease & Galliford Try to mention a few and their organogram is built to deliver a first class service. The organisation pride themselves on long lasting relationships and the ambition to be the most competitive and quality driven MEP Contractor across the UK. They require a H&S Manager that is seeking to progress their career to a regional role while working on some extremely prestigious developments across London.

The Job Role

As H&S Manager you will be responsible for:

* Overseeing all Health & Safety legislation & requirements
* Be involved with Construction Design & Management and ensuring all regulations are adhered to
* Liaising closely with the Project teams as well as certain clients
* Attending weekly client, consultant & subcontractor meetings.

The Individual

To be suitable for this position you will:

* Have a minimum of 5 years experience working within the Construction industry (ideally with M&E experience)
* Have understanding of all Health & Safety legislation
* Have both IOSH & NEBOSH construction certification
* Have gained experience of working individually and as part of a team
* Have an excellent eye for detail

In return my client is offering a basic salary of up to £70,000 plus company benefits which include a car allowance, travel expenses, contributory pension scheme & private healthcare as well as substantial bonuses.
