Are you an experienced Helpdesk professional looking for their next opportunity?

One of the largest commercial firms in the world are recruiting for their Chester office to create their new helpdesk team.

Job responsibilities:

This is an internal helpdesk role, you will not be speaking to customers/dealing with complaints but liaising with the team of engineers.

Candidate will provide a single point of contact for all reactive and service delivery related issues, ensuring that all incidents and service requests are logged and managed on behalf of the FM provider.

Candidates will require an excellent telephone manner, trouble shooting skills and ability to communicate and liaise between technical engineers and non-technical engineers.

All calls must be recorded accurately and classified appropriately.

All requests are to be managed Via the Concept Evolution System.

You will be expected to..



* Be professional and approach at all times
* Excellent timekeeping
* Be used to working within a team
* Log and categorise all calls / emails in an efficient and professional manner
* Proactively provide confirmation and feedback to the user until a resolution has been reached
* Close calls that have been resolved and make sure that the user is satisfied with the resolution
* Book training/conference rooms
* Meet and greet customers
* Answer telephone
* General office duties
* Have proficient IT skills
* Have fexibility when undertaking tasks


Person specification /Experience



* Experience of working in a similar role/setting is highly beneficial
* Previous Service Desk experience an advantage
* Working to Service Desk Processes and Procedures
* Excellent written communication skills
* Able to communicate at all levels and excellent telephone manner
* Highly organised with good administration skills & a Flexible outlook
* Effective problem solving technique
* Excellent interpersonal skills & attention to detail
* Computer literate
* Ability to prioritise workload, and able to Multitask

This is a permanent role.

Usual shifts; 07:30-15:30 one week and 10:00-18:00 next week
