Company Overview

A successful housing association in the North East, is looking for an experienced Housing Antisocial Behaviour Officer to join their team on a temporary contract, for a minimum of up to a couple of months.

Your Package

- Full Time hours
- Monday to Friday
- £13 - £16

Your Responsibilities

* Provide support, advice and assistance to all residents in order to overcome anti-social behaviour, crime or the fear of crime
* Communicate sensitively with customers about a range of anti-social behaviour issues
* Maintain accurate records
* Develop appropriate responses to ensure incidents of anti-social behaviour are dealt with appropriately and sensitively
* Investigate, prepare and serve legal documents and attend Court in relation to cases of crime
* Actively support and adopt a problem solving approach and work proactively in partnership

Your Skills and Experience

* Excellent understanding of the legislation and legal process for tenancy enforcement, antisocial behaviour tools and powers, covert surveillance and monitoring of noise etc.
* Advanced negotiating skills
* Advanced communication and inter-personal skills, able to represent the business and present information clearly in a formal environment
* Flexible approach to working hours and ability to operate on estates outside the office environment
* A Category B driving licence is an essential requirement of this post
