Company Overview

A successful Housing Association who manages around 8,400 homes across Co. Durham are looking to recruit two Housing Support Co-ordinator. Both are temporary position which is ongoing for a minimum term of 4 - 6 months. The first position is a 37 hour contract and the other is a 27 hour.

Your Package



* Monday - Friday (37 HOUR)
* Monday - Wednesday (27 HOUR)
* £11 - £14 p/h

Your Responsibilities



* Responsible for the housing management, allocations and lettings and resolution of complaints of anti-social behaviour
* Proactively seek to sustain tenancies, reduce tenancy turnover and minimise void rent loss
* Ensure the effective allocation and letting of properties within target timescales to ensure that properties are in a suitable state to be re-let and securing a prospective tenant to maximise rental income
* Manage all related administration including voids, CORE lettings and terminations and tenancy agreements.
* Implement rechargeable repairs policy and ensure that tenants are held accountable for wilful damage and neglect to their home
* Liaise with the Homes and Properties Advisors to ensure the condition of void properties are monitored so that they are presented and maintained to a high standard
* Manage starter tenancies within designated communities in accordance with the Organisation's agreed policy and procedures
* Respond energetically and in a timely manner to any reports or concerns of safeguarding or hoarding cases

Your Experience/Skills



* Experience as a Housing Officer in previous roles
* Able to begin the role at full speed with minimum training
