Responsibilities and requirements:



* Chair Initial and Review Child Protection Conferences for vulnerable children and young people in accordance with the Children Act and Working Together
* Ensure the implementation of core standards for Conferences in terms of the Chair's role, as agreed and published by Gloucestershire Safeguarding Children Board
* Ensure children and their families are enabled to participate in Child Protection Conference meetings and decision-making
* Ensure written confirmation of Conference decisions within required timescales
* Produce outline Child Protection Plans with the child, family and all participants, for the Core Group to develop
