Are you an experience regeneration manager looking for a new role? Our client are a Local Authority based in West London who are looking for an Interim Regeneration Manager to develop and implement a range of social, economic and physical regeneration projects as part of a specific regeneration.


To work directly with the selected development partners to produce strategies and develop the planning documentation for submission and eventual approval of the hybrid planning application for the masterplan area. To ensure that documents are produced to a standard and in line with overall council policies to enable the Council to decide whether the application can be submitted.

To provide advice, reports and guidance to senior council officers and members to allow decisions on the scheme to be taken.

To procure and manage consultants (including relevant budgets) providing specialist services required for appraisal, feasibility or for preparatory work such as remediation.

To lead on the agreement of an estate management strategy for the estate with the support of relevant council services and the development partner

To work with relevant council services to produce detailed fit out plans for new council owned service buildings and assist those services in producing fit for purpose management and revenue strategies.

To work with the project manager and the Council's valuation service to produce and implement an acquisitions strategy and produce a statement of reasons for the first CPO.

To develop, monitor and implement agreed programmes - both internally and with the developer.

To supervise and oversee regeneration team project officers to assist on projects and workload.


An experienced regeneration professional with significant experience in developing and delivering complex urban regeneration projects in partnership with or as part of a local authority.

Experience of working with public sector stakeholders across a range of services and disciplines and with local communities to deliver change.

A demonstrable track record of developing and delivering physical, economic and social regeneration projects in urban renewal and particularly estate regeneration to deliver new homes, community infrastructure, jobs, training opportunities, crime prevention and health improvement initiatives and transport improvements.

Experience of working with architects and local communities to implement and adapt place-making masterplans to maximise opportunities for holistic improvements to life outcomes for local residents.

Degree level qualification in one of the following disciplines; planning, design, urban renewal, procurement, property or at least 5 years of relevant experience
