We are looking for an Inventory Planner to join a successful, growing client based in Newbury. If you are highly confident with Microsoft Excel, a quick learner and have a mind for analysing data, this is the opportunity for you! The role is permanent, full time, paying up to £18,000, working 9am-5pm Monday to Friday with half an hour lunch break and an ASAP start.

Job Responsibilities:
As an Inventory Planner Coodinator you will manage the stock coming in from China, organise the containers to be delivered to Newbury and act as the internal contact on stock queries.
*Work with Inventory team and Warehouse with stock takes to ensure systems and data are updated and accurate
*Keep inventory records and spreadsheets up to date
*Communicate with internal departments to provide updates on stock status
*Generate statistical data to help with forecast for stock, taking into account historical data and planned future events
*Product report on inventory status (e.g. overstock, slow moving stock, aged and discontinued)
*Produce reports to highlight and help solve any inventory exceptions (e.g. lead time issues, order multiple issues, customer and supplier specific issues)


Preferred Skills:
*Previous experience in a inventory/stock role (1 year minimum)
*Excellent communicator - written and verbal
*Advanced Exel user
*Previous product and technical background/knowledge would be advantageous
*Data processing and report experience - good eye for detail and accuracy
