Investment Analyst
£45,000 - £50,000 pa

We are working on a fantastic opportunity for an Investment Analyst to join a successful and well known organisation in its Corporate Finance team. The successful applicant will join this organisation at an exciting time as they continue to embark on growing their portfolio.

This role is a commercially focused position and will work closely with the Head of Financial Planning to provide analysis of the returns and risks associated with investment decisions and corporate planning.

You will be the "go to" person in finance for all matters relating to investment appraisal and financial modelling.

This role will suit an individual who enjoys financial valuations and interrogating data systems.

Key responsibilities of the Investment Analyst will include:
-To work closely with the Head of Financial Planning in providing a financial planning service
-Post implementation financial reviews of development schemes
-Undertake property portfolio analysis
-Contribute to the appraisal of new development schemes by assessing cashflow impact Collate detailed, up-to-date information about the UK economy and financial markets
-To provide Due Diligence support for corporate projects (e.g. M&A, raising finance)
-Financial monitoring of key contractors

The ideal Investment Analyst will possess the following attributes/skills:
-Familiarity with financial valuation and analytical techniques
-Experience of interrogating data systems
-Experience of data analysis using relevant tools and techniques
-Advanced knowledge of excel
-Financial modelling
