IT Support Engineer - £23k-£27k

IT Support Engineer is required by a leading organisation based in Stratford. This role represents a chance to join a busy IT support function providing telephone, email and face to face support at the head office and other company sites around the South East.

The successful candidate will have excellent customer services skills, a strong interest in IT and ideally have some previous experience working on a service desk or in an IT Support Engineer role. It's important you are a strong communicator and team player with a thirst for knowledge and professional development.

Essential skills/experience/capabilities:-

* In-depth knowledge in Microsoft Windows 7; Identifying and resolving deployment and client configuration issues.
* Knowledge and understanding in installation of drivers and updating of hardware firmware
* Manage NTFS folder and file level permissions
* Comprehensive knowledge in Active Directory;
* Experience with Citrix AppCenter
* Citrix logon issues, profile issues and Citrix agents settings
* MS Office in 2010; a high understanding with MS Outlook 2010 resolving outlook related issues
* Proficiency in building, rebuilding laptops, PCs and thin client machines
* Involvement in deploying IT hardware kit

This role represents a good opportunity for someone who has previously worked in a hands on support role or a technical Service Desk position. There will be lot's of opportunity to progress and work in a strong team, share knowledge and enhance your technical skills.

Initially this role is Fixed Term (FTC) fro 6 months. There is a chance it will be extended beyond this and possibly made permanent.
