Are you an experienced administrator wanting to expand your knowledge and gain insight into the wonderful word of logistics? This is an exciting opportunity to really develop within a role and learn a new industry!

A small logistics organisation based in Great Barr are looking for a new member to join their sucessful and friednly team as a Logistics Administrator.

Benefits:



* Permanent position
* Monday - Friday 9-5
* 20 days holiday

Responsibilities (full training will be provided)



* Organise shipping documents, and book in the jobs on specialist IT system
* Liaising with customers to coordinate/update on shipments
* Obtain quotations from both domestic and overseas suppliers/agents
* Customs clearance entry (after training)
* Answer telephone and Email correspondence
* Checking and raising invoice
* Providing full administrative support

Requirements (Essential)



* Excellent communication skills
* IT literate (all Microsoft Applications)
* 2 years experience in Administration
* GCSE's (or equivalent) Maths & English
* Ability work as part of a small team
* Meticulous attention to detail
* Proven ability to prioritise workload

Please note: you will be required to complete both a literacy and numeracy test.
